I haven’t drawn my character “Miriah” Xiong Yi Lian in a very long time. I drew this while listening to Sabotage by The Beastie Boys, so in my head she’s rocking that tune. What you picture her saying or performing is up to you!

So, uh, yeah. I’m writing a book, and while I’m terrified y’all will hate it I figured I’d share it anyhow with all you creative lovelies out there. Here’s my lame little blurb, lol;
Chronicling the origins of characters first seen in Urban Nordica: Chainbreaker and Urban Nordica II: Dead on Arrival, Urban Mythica tells the story of “Miriah” Xiong Yi Lian, a young woman who gets drawn into the supernatural goings-on of Underwood Bay. Rocked by the realization that creatures of the night are indeed real and very dangerous, she becomes determined to protect the people who have no idea they are being preyed upon. Before long she gets caught up in an ancient struggle between powerful enemies, as well as the beginning of a deadly rivalry that will define and consume her for years to come…
By the by, you can read the aforementioned Urban Nordica here and hopefully you will enjoy that, since I wrote it with Alis Dee and that means ~**QUALITY**~ unlike me solo, lol.

A Pirate’s Life For Me [POSSIBLE Urban Mythica Book 7 Excerpt]
This will make more sense if you’ve read URBAN NORDICA: CHAINBREAKER (which you should because ME AND ALISDEE WROTE IT AND IT’S AWESOME), but you may enjoy it anyways. Back from 2008;
I wrote this on a lark… just a scene I had in my head, lol. Possible excerpt from the seventh Urban Mythica book featuring Miriah, our heroine; Loki, a god on loan from Alisdee; and Raine, Tara’s tattooed vampire lover. And a more or less mindless beast Joseph hunting them.
What with The Avengers having hit North American shores over the weekend, and the fact that it seems everyone and their mum is going on about Loki, I believe it’s time to crowbar in a little Shameless Self Promotion and remind folks that they can read Urban Nordica: Chainbreaker, featuring Alisdee’s personal take on the Trickster God, for free online!
